What our students are saying

I enrolled on my course because I want to become an Outdoor Instructor for climbing. I was previously studying at Woodroffe School. My main achievement whilst studying at Exeter College has been learning how to use the kit for climbing correctly and I have been caving for the first time.

Oscar, BTEC First Diploma in Sport – Level 2

I have enjoyed the practical part of my course and having more freedom than I would in secondary school. I intend to go onto Level 3…I would recommend Exeter College because you are able to make new friends and have a wide variety of courses to pick from.

Jack, BTEC First Diploma in Sport – Level 2

My main achievements have been learning to use the equipment such as climbing, kayaking, mountain biking and caving. I intend to go on to the Level 3 or an apprenticeship to gain more experiences of the job. I would recommend Exeter College because you get good experiences and a further understanding of the job you want to do.

Richard, BTEC First Diploma in Sport – Level 2

I decided to enrol on my course because it is a very practical based course and allows you to gain fitness and new friends. My main achievements have been to get a distinction overall in the course but also to pass my maths and English. I have enjoyed being on the water and also learning about how the body works through anatomy and physiology. I would recommend Exeter College because they offer a lot of guidance and support and are a very high standard of college. I intend to progress to the Level 3 and then hope to find a job abroad an outdoor instructor.
