What our students are saying

I did the 14-16 course then progressed to a Level 1 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair course and I also did work experience which helps you to understand the course more. I couldn’t make up my mind if I would prefer to do mechanics on motor bikes or cars, or maybe even do some body and paint. This course is ideal, because you can try all of the different areas and progress on to a Level 2 course once you make up your mind.

I chose my course because I'm into cars. I enjoyed being in the workshop the most and learning more on Functional Skills. The teachers were all supportive. I'm now doing a Level 2 apprenticeship which the college helped me find. My advice would be to try and find an apprenticeship as soon as you can
