  • Sport and fitness activities - over 15 different ones, including fitness training, volleyball, basketball, yoga or using our Central Fitness gym
  • Team building challenges such as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award or the Ten Tors event
  • Citizenship activities which involve fundraising and volunteering through activities like our Exeter College Volunteers (ECV) and the Enterprise Club
  • Music groups such as the Chamber Orchestra or get involved in performances
  • Drama productions - you could take part in fantastic productions
  • Business and enterprise activities and workshops to learn essential business skills and turn your entrepreneurial dreams into a reality

In addition, each faculty runs trips and visits as well as cross college trips such as the annual ski trip.

Please note: There is a small fee for some of the enrichment activities, such as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.

Spark Radio

Exeter College’s exciting new student radio station, Spark Radio, was launched in 2013. The studio features industry standard equipment, allowing students to get a real taste of what it is like to work in radio. Open to all students, it is supported by partners in the local media and offers a fantastic opportunity to learn presentation and production skills and run your own radio shows!

Each faculty runs trips and visits as well as cross college trips, such as the annual ski trip. Many courses involve trips to develop skills and provide experience. In recent years, these have included local fieldwork for geology students, court visits for law students, trips to Berlin for history students, New York or San Francisco for film studies students and the Cheltenham races and holiday parks for travel and tourism students.
