Supplier Opportunities
Exeter College actively encourages engagement with SMEs’, members of the
Federation of Small Businesses, Chamber of Commerce’s and other business
organisations and is always interested in talking with prospective suppliers
that can assist the college in achieving its strategic objectives in providing value-for-money
(VFM) solutions
to its customers and most importantly its learners.
When Exeter College has a requirement that cannot be fulfilled
by an existing Consortia or Collaborative agreement,
we will invite competitive quotations or tenders from prospective suppliers. The
bidding method used will depend upon the anticipated value of the requirement.
Further Education Colleges are required to comply with EU tendering directives.
These directives encourage open and transparent competition which is delivered using
competitive tendering throughout the European Union.
The link to the applicable thresholds for information is as follows;-

Please note new suppliers to Exeter College are discouraged from making unsolicited
visits or telephone calls to Departments and or Faculty’s and should in the first instance contact
Purchasing@exe-coll.ac.uk with a
brief statement of the goods or services to be supplied.
