Tutorial Programme
While you are at College, your tutor is responsible for your progress on your course
and your general welfare. If your tutor cannot help you, he/she will help you find
the person you need.
You will have opportunities to talk regularly to your tutor, both formally and informally.
Some tutorials will be with the rest of your group, and some will be individual,
but you do not need to wait until the next formal tutorial if you have a problem
which needs resolving quickly.
You will receive an appropriate introduction to your programme, and be made aware
of the programme’s requirements at the start of your learning. Information will
also be provided on the proper and effective use of College resources, together
with the other facilities, including sport, recreation and catering, which are all available
to you.
During the period of study you are entitled to:
- Regular reports on progress as part of your Individual Learning Plan
- Help with personal difficulties which may affect your studies
- Advice on alternative programmes if this becomes appropriate
- Guidance and advice on the scope for continued study on completion of your programme
- Information and guidance on jobs and careers.
