Enrichment at Exeter College
What is enrichment?
It’s more than just a group of societies and clubs. It’s an organised set of exciting
activities that gives all students at Exeter College the opportunity to test out
new hobbies, get a skill or qualification you hadn’t thought of and make new friends!
The enrichment programme enhances your core programme of learning at the college
and helps you enjoy and achieve and make a positive contribution.
And we’re expanding all the time. You’ve got the chance to join:
- Recreational activities such as comic book workshop, creative writing and book club
- Sport and fitness activities, over 15 different ones eg fitness training, volleyball, basketball, yoga and cheerleading
- The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, the Ten Tors Challenge, and British Sign Language qualifications
- Citizenship activities which involve fundraising and volunteering such as with the BTCV
- Music activities such as Big Band, Jazz Project, Inspirational Choir and more, with the opportunity to participate in a number of performances
- Enrichment Drama where you get involved in drama productions whether it’s performing, set design or production.
- Trips- ski trips to France, visits to New York and Morocco
Whatever your likes and dislikes, we’re sure that there’s something for you in the Enrichment programme. You get to choose during the Freshers’ Fair at the start of the year and can join in at any time during the year, there are enrichment activities available every day.
Exeter College – more than education – why go anywhere else?
