Open Events 2013/14
We hold at least
4 Open Events every year, for the whole college, dates for entry for September
16 January 2014 17:00 - 20:00
30 April 2014 17:00 - 20:00
From this September, the government will introduce the requirement for students to remain in training or education until the end of the academic year in which they turn 17.
Raising the Participation Age does not mean that young people must stay in school. They will be able to choose from one of the following options:
- Full time education, such as College, School or home education
- Work based learning such as an apprenticeship
- Part time education or training if they are employed, self-employed or volunteering for more than 20 hours per week
If you have any questions about what this means for you or your son / daughter,
or about courses at Exeter College which might meet their needs, please contact
our College Advisors on 01392 400500 or by email at email@example.com
