Supporting you at College

We're determined to give you the support and help you need while you’re at Exeter College and we are proud of our excellent record in providing a welcoming and inclusive environment where all learners have equality of opportunity.

Learning Support

Workshop support is available for any bilingual students, weekly on a drop in basis.

If you have a learning difficulty, sensory impairment or a physical disability and would like individual learning support, you must apply for a Disabled Students Allowance (DSA) from Student Finance England. The DSA can authorise access to certain software, technology and learning support. Click here to find out more and apply.

Your first weeks here

During the first few weeks of your course, your tutor will take you through your induction programme, which will include collecting your ID badge, getting a computer log-in and a chance to look around the Learning Centres and find our cafes. They will also discuss your goals and targets for the course.

Financial Support

Student loans are available to cover the cost of your course fees and/or your maintenance costs whilst studying. Exeter College also offers a National Scholarship Programme. There are also specific funding arrangements for certain types of course or particular personal circumstances. To find out if you are eligible and how to apply, click here.
