Graduation Ceremony October 2010
Welcome to the graduation section where you’ll find information about the graduation ceremony on Friday 22nd October 2010. This includes the booking form to register your place, information about academic dress and guest’s attire, as well as maps and where to eat in Exeter.

Please note that booking for the graduation has officially closed. Please email graduation@exe-coll.ac.uk or telephone Anna Winston on 01392 205224 as it may be possible to take late bookings.
Afternoon tea
You and your guests are welcome to join fellow graduates and staff at a celebratory afternoon tea in the Thistle Hotel Rougemont (Queen Street) following the ceremony at the Cathedral. Please tick the box on the booking form if you’d like to attend.
Itinerary for the day (timings are approximate)
From 11.15am - Collect academic dress/gown from Wippell in the Chapter House, to the right of the main entrance at Exeter Cathedral
Opportunity to have a professional photograph taken by Exesight Photography in the Chapter House
Student registration
1.40pm - Everyone is invited to take their seats in Exeter Cathedral
2.00pm - Ceremony starts
3.00pm - Ceremony ends
3.00pm - 5.00pm - Celebratory afternoon tea served in the Thistle Hotel, Queen Street (opposite Exeter Central train station)
Return academic dress/gown to Wippell who will be based in the Thistle Hotel
Opportunity to have a professional photograph taken by Exesight Photography in the Thistle Hotel

Ordering your academic dress
J. Wippell & Company Limited are providing academic dress which you must wear to attend the ceremony. Please check their website and select Exeter College from the list www.wippellgownhire.co.uk/
Please note that PGCE students will need to complete a paper based form to order.
Guest’s attire
Graduation ceremonies are a formal occasion so casual clothing is not considered appropriate. We suggest guests dress as if ‘attending a wedding’.

Postage is £2 per order. Collection from our Pynes Hill studio (office hours only) is free.
