Apprenticeships at Exeter College

We can offer Apprenticeship programmes for young employees that will fully prepare them in your workforce to be an asset to your business and be able to function effectively within their role.
We can offer advice and guidance to employers on how their staff and business can benefit from Apprentices, developing skills for
NOW and the FUTURE.
Each Apprenticeship is built around a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) which is the key to successful job training in most industries. The programme will also have a theory based technical certificate such as a BTEC or progression award.
Apprentices usually attend Exeter College one day per week and the remainder of their time will be spent learning and training in the job role. An Apprenticeship can last between one and four years, depending on the work they are doing and the level of study.
Employees must have a contract of employment, be living in England and not be in
full time education.
We can offer a large range of Apprenticeships:
AUTOMOTIVE including maintenance and repair, parts operations; body repairs; driving goods vehicles; distribution, warehousing and storage.
BUSINESS AND IT including customer service; accounting.
CONSTRUCTION including bricklaying; carpentry; joinery; electrical; plumbing; decorative
occupations.
ENGINEERING including engineering operations; mechanical manufacturing engineering;
maintenance; fabrication and welding; technical support; aeronautical engineering.
HAIRDRESSING
HEALTH, SOCIAL CARE & CHILDCARE including learning and development; health and
social care; supporting teaching and learning in schools.
HOSPITALITY AND CATERING including professional cookery; food and drink service.
SPORT including sporting excellence.
