The AAT has 120,000 Members, Affiliates and Students worldwide involved in a very wide range of businesses and institutions. The AAT is the professional body for Accounting Technicians. The importance of competence in accounting is recognised throughout industry, commerce and government, as well as in the accounting profession. The AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) scheme is based on units divided into three levels of accounting competence - levels 2, 3 and 4. Successful completion of the scheme, together with appropriate work experience entitles you to apply for full membership of the AAT, (Accounting Technician).
