How do I study the course/training and how will I be assessed?
Two of the core modules are spread over twelve months which enables the student to build up a portfolio of evidence. This Professional Practice Log will contain a variety of formative assignments plus a journal which places emphasis on self reflection and critical thinking.
The business topics, which are covered within the taught Master Classes, form the subject matter and the Air Travel Industry context, against which to apply the higher level skills of resource planning, business analysis and service excellence. Each of these skills will be measured by assignments which are placed throughout the year of study, enabling students to incrementally develop their skills and confidence.
The business improvement project at the end of the two-year programme fully utilises the inquiry skills of research, questioning, problem-solving and analysis.
The programme is delivered using a variety of modes and study patterns, including: distance, work-based, and web-based learning, with the flexibility to study, within reasonable limits, when and where it best suits the learner.
