Single Equality Scheme

Our Single Equality Scheme brings together in one document our research, consultations and development in bringing about equality across the full range of our college activities. It sets out the actions we are currently taking to make the college a fairer place for everyone with a view to ensuring everyone can participate as fully as possible in college life. This covers our duties to our staff and students and other stakeholders.

The Single Equality Scheme builds upon the work undertaken by the college through its three original Equality Schemes on disability, gender, and race. These have now been completed and you can access them here:

Disability Equality Scheme 2009 - 2012
Disability Equality Scheme 2009 Final Report
Gender Equality Scheme 2007 - 2010 Final Report

The Single Equality Scheme is run through a steering group. Each of the equality strands is led by both a staff and student representative. We are always interested in receiving new information or suggestions for action points so please get in touch if you wish to comment.

You can access the Single Equality Scheme and action plans using the buttons on the right.
