Adult Learning at Exeter College

Whether you are choosing an adult learning course to re-train, qualify or just for enjoyment Exeter College has a huge range of courses dedicated to students 19+. You get the opportunity to learn and train with the experts and have access to award winning learning centres, workshops, studios and classrooms.

Many of our courses can help you find a new career or get the qualifications that prove you can excel in a job. Our popular Access to HE courses routinely help students with few qualifications prepare for an array of degree courses, including those provided by Exeter College. Our leisure courses can give you a new interest or help you turn a hobby into a living.

We want to encourage adults in the Exeter and heart of Devon area to continue to learn, with courses running across the city in the college sites, schools and community centres.

Some of our adult learning courses have entry requirements – this is to ensure that you are at the right level to be able to do the course. If you're worried that you haven’t got the entry qualifications required, you will be able to talk about this in your interview. We can help you find the right course.

Look at our Skills for Life section that tells you about our FREE courses for adults, which can help you if you feel that you didn’t reach your full potential whilst at school, want to fill a gap in your CV or would like to gain more confidence using computers whilst brushing up your English or Maths.

And if you want to do a course and you can’t find it at Exeter College – tell us. If we get enough interest and are able to put on the course, you and a friend can come on the course for FREE! You can really have a say in what courses the College offers.

We're very proud of the range of courses we offer – we're sure we have something that will suit you.
