Your tutor or skills officer is your first point of contact for career/progression guidance and will help you through your tutorial programme and 1:1 sessions. You will also get help from:

The progression team at the college are the experts and can help you:

  • Try out a careers management programme showing your strengths and possible career choices
  • Choose and apply for the competitive higher education courses and understand all about higher education funding
  • Get up to date local and regional job and training vacancies

Careers South West advisers are based in college as well as in their centre in Queen Street. They can help you with anything to do with careers or jobs or personal issues that may be preventing you from doing well at college. This can include
