What our students are saying

The course gave me a foundation; I had previously worked within IT but didn’t really have a recognised qualification in IT which I felt was important to have. It’s also given me knowledge in areas I wasn’t too strong in such as customer care, project planning and my employment rights and responsibilities. I have enjoyed the working environment, all members of staff where helpful and have a rather relaxed approach. This made completing assignments easy as help was always at hand and the expectations were reasonable.

Dan, BTEC Level 2 IT (Apprenticeship)

I chose this course because I have a keen interest in computing and would like to move into a career within that industry. I enjoy the laid back environment of the college, and how much say we have as students to ensure improvements are made where needed. I intend on going to university to study Computer Games Development because this is the industry I am most interested in working in.

Nathan, BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in IT

The course I took at Exeter College helped me develop not only my IT skills that I would later implement and develop in my job at Capgemini (one of the largest IT outsourcing in the world), but also my business and self management skills. It definitely set the foundations of the job I was entering. My lecturers delivered well structured lessons as well as always being friendly and keeping everyone on the right path to getting a good grade. Our class felt like a family and I keep in contact with all of my class mates…even after college we are still all the best of friends thanks to Exeter College.
