What our students are saying

My job as an apprentice at a hospital has lived up to every expectation and more! I could not imagine working anywhere else. When I first started my job at the hospital I just thought it would be a 'normal' day to day job but it's so much more. I get excited about going to work every single day and I always leave with a smile on my face.

Chelsea, Clinical Healthcare Apprentice

The course helped me prepare for the Army by teaching me the importance of time management and admin. It also helped me gain confidence in speaking in front of people by doing the presentations on the various subjects. Confidence and speaking in front of people can be important in the Military especially for promotion because you will be expected to teach others.

Harry, Public Services Level 3

The most exciting part of the term was definitely my work experience! I had an amazing placement at the Royal Devon and Exeter hospital in women's health which confirmed my aspirations of becoming a midwife. I would not have been able to do this if it was not for the support from my lecturers!

Bonnie, Health and Social Care BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma
